LicenseServer1.6 is the systems,which is usedtomanagelicensesinsoftwareproducts. It is usuallyinstalledonthe server, where database is located.
Aftersomeactionswith the server (for example - a sudden reboot, adding memory, etc.), the errorsmayoccur. Themostcommon errors andsolutions are listed below:
a) Problem: The license server contains the expired licenses for FirstBit:ERP, for 1CV8:
Solution:
1) Open the license server (located at the server):
2) Click connect:
3) Check is there active license or not (green - active, red - inactive):
In accordance to the error text, it should be inactive:
4) By the instruction License Request Process in FirstBit get the registration key and send it to Hotline. After processing, you will receive a new license and be able to apply it.
b) Problem: An error occurred during connection to the License Server 1.6 through Licence Service Assistant service. By Reason Of: Could not connect to the license server assistant:
Solution:
1) Perform the check described in (a)
2)IIf the license is active — verify the server name or IP address
Case 1: Error on the server
In the general settings, the IP address of the License Server must be specified.
It should match the one shown in the License Server itself.
The IP address can also be written as localhost.
Case 2: Error on another PC (without License Server installed)
In the settings, you must specify either the server name or server IP address:
Server name can be found in PC properties
IP address can be obtained via the CMD command: ipconfig
3)IIf the server name or IP address are correct — check the License Server Assistant Service port. Default port: 10602, if it does not work, try 10600 or 10601.
4)Make sure the Jackdaw checkbox is enabled (this setting is only available on the server but affects other PCs).
