It allows connecting to information databases both over a local network and via the Internet. It provides user interaction with the information base (the file version of the work) or with a cluster of 1C: Enterprise 8 servers (the client-server version of the work).

The application can use both licences installed on the server and local licences when the security key is installed on the PC.

Installer's variants are available for 32-bit and 64-bit versions.:

32 bit OS is for old PC with system type 32-bit operating system, x86-bit based processor (check System type it in This PC > Properties):

b) Thick client and Thin Client:

1С Thick client means that all data operations are performed directly at the user's workplace, and the data itself is stored on the server, where the client application requests it.
Such a client can perform almost all functions and work with application data types.
The main thing that it has a Designer mode, so it is possible to work with extensions, etc.

1C Thin Client means that on the server, in addition to data storage, almost all program code, queries, temporary files and cache are executed.
At this workplace, the user only enters the initial data and sees the result displayed on his monitor.


Installing Installation process: 

1) Get . Request the needful corresponding variant from Hotline or account-manager,Account Manager.

2) . Unzip downloaded archive and find the file setup.exe:

5. Select default interface langauge > Next and Finish on the subsequent windows to complete the installation:

3) 6. Add a basedatabase

Open 1C Enterprise application clicking the icon on your desktop and click "Add " to add a new database in your list:

Select the option Add infobase to add an existing database:

Depending on the type of your database and connection, select the appropriate option, specify details, then click Next and Finish:

a) If the database is placed in the folder in your network, then select the option #1 and specify the path. - SH-Creation an empty database with standard FirstBit configuration. (Self host)

b) If you have a link to connect to the database, then select the option #2 and past your link there. -  Add database link in Platform 

c) If you use server database and connection, then choose the option #3 and specify server and database names.

7. To check connection, select your database and click "1C:Enterprise":
