In case, if there are any errors while Import data from excel file (using The "Import data from Excel" feature enables data transfer from an Excel spreadsheet to a database. If you encounter any issues during this process (using the Excel Import templates), please check verify the settings according to this list:

  1.  Go to Administration - Master data - Excel Import Templates. All fields in excel file should be filled with format as it was set in corresponding excel template. Image Removed

  • all fields with numeric values must not contain space symbol. For example: using 1000 separator it might be added spaces in between digits of the numbers - "2 230" - for automatically import from excel into ERP system - it is an error. Numerics should be filled without it - "2230".

      

      3. To check the correct operation of the data loading mechanism itself, you must enter the data manually into the system when calling the loading command:

The file template upload feature is a useful tool for verifying the accuracy of the data entry. When importing data from an Excel file, you can hover over the upper right corner of each column in the template to see a prompt about the required format.

Secondly, you can also view this information directly from the Excel Import template within the administration module. Navigate to Administration > Master Data > Excel Import Templates.

Information about the format of Excel cells can be found in the "Format" column on the Fields tab of the template. When uploading an Excel file, ensure that all fields are filled according to the specified format.

Data in the Excel file needs to be reviewed as follows:

  1. Numeric Fields: Ensure that all fields with numeric values do not contain zeros. If a zero is expected in a cell, leave it empty instead of entering "0".
  2. No Spaces: Numeric fields should not include any space characters. For instance, avoid using spaces as thousand separators (e.g., "2 230"). Instead, format the numbers without spaces (e.g., "2230").

  •     To verify the proper functioning of the data loading mechanism-

The user should manually enter the data into the system when the user clicks the "Import from Excel" Image Addedbutton. Copy from Excel and paste on the below screen, by filling out the import template manually, you can test the data upload process and identify any errors in the data entry.

Details of any errors will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. You can use this information to make corrections to the entire template before proceeding with the upload.
