Problem: How can I send emails from FirstBIT software?

Solution: In order to send emails from the system, you need to set up the email account.


1. To create Email Accounts, go to to Administration > Email Accounts:

2. Click on Create option to add email accounts in the database, in email address and password put .

In the dialog box, add the Email Address and Password (it should be your credentials from a relevant existing email account, put ).

Put Sender name and select Get the connection parameters automatically and press Create:

3. If the parameter parameters are not set automatically the following , the following message will be given and proceed with manual set up:

4. Put the email the email provider SMTP server and port details (it should be available be available in your email account settings), disable safe logon and authentication and authentication required options:

Select the 5. Select the connection protocol for incoming emails based on your email properties:

6. Put the server timeout more than 30 sec:

When NOTE When you change the password for the account, make sure to do the same in the database too.

For Yandex account make sure that one of the options (POP or IMAP) is  enabled in Use a mail client to retrieve your Yandex mail in Mail / All settings / EMail Client section
(Разрешить доступ к почтовому ящику с помощью почтовых клиентов в разделе Почта / Все настройки / Почтовые программы).
