Documents of the Project Cost Allocation type, with the the Allocation of Depreciation Costs transaction type, are used to allocate depreciation costs of fixed assets to multiple across multiple projects and project tasks.

Main tab

On this tab, This tab is used to specify general information:

  • Entity : Choose - Select the relevant legal entity (if multi-company is enabled)
  • Basis: Mandatory selection of a Depreciation Calculation document
  • Fill by Basis: Imports depreciation data and can be used to restore original values
  • Comment: Optional field for additional remarks
  • Note: All allocations are processed in the accounting currency
  • Basis - Choose the Depreciation Calculation document to use for allocating costs to projects; this field is mandatory
  • Fill by Basis - click this option to automatically populate the Depreciation Costs table with data from the selected document. 
  • Comment - Optional field to add notes or remarks
