Resource The resource planning adjustments are used to release or reschedule resources, either employees or fixed assets, from an existing resource planning document . It can be posted only when the resources planning documents are assigned as the basis.The Resource Planning Document Adjustment is used to modify previously scheduled resources without changing the original resource planning document. It is used when planned employees or equipment must be replaced, removed, or rescheduled.

Two planning types support adjustments:

  1. Period Planning – scheduling for specific date ranges

  2. Long-Term Planning – continuous assignment from a start date until changed

Resource planning adjustments modify previously scheduled resources such as employees or fixed assets by releasing, replacing, or rescheduling them. These adjustments can only be created when they are linked to an existing resource planning document, and they can be generated directly from that document.

A Resource Planning Document Adjustment This adjustment updates the resource schedule without changing altering the original planning document.

Adjustments can be made in two planning types:

  1. Period Planning - scheduling scheduling resources for a specific date range.

  2. Long-Term Planning - continuous assignment from a start date until it is changedchanged. It is only used to release resources from projects.


Main Tab

  • Entity - Choose the name of the entity.

  • Department - Select the department requesting the resources.

  • Project - Associate the relevant project.

  • Requisition - Link to the corresponding requisition document.

  • Transaction Type - Specify the type of transaction, such as period planning or long-term planning.

  • Resource Type - Determine the resource's category, for example, a fixed asset or an employee.

  • Hired Resource - enable the option if the resource is externally contracted.

  • Comment - Add any optional notes or internal remarks.
