Problem: How to modify Inventory Report to see items with/without Brand?

Solution: Use Change report variant option to add this setting.

1. To generate report and see items with brand, please go to Warehouse > Reports:

1. Find .  
    Find and open report Stock Balance (by Items).

2. Then go to More Actions > Change report variant:

3. In the upper part of window, press Add > New grouping and select brand as shown:

4. Place Item.Brand on the top as shown (you may pull this element or other elements as well, use arrows for your help):

5. Save settings and press User-defined settings item properties and OK:

6. Next step is adding Brand in filters. Go to the lower part of the window > open Tab Filter.

    Find Item in the right part and double-click on Brand to move it to the left part:

7. Choose Empty for Comparison Type if you need to see items without brand:

8. To filter inventory according to particular brand or some brands, you may set Comparison type - In list group, save this variant and add different brands in one list:

9. Save chosen settings by pressing More actions > User defined settings item properties > tick Include in custom settings. Press OK and Complete:

10. Now you can see list of inventories without brand:

11. To save this form of report, go to More actions > Save report variant > Create New Report Variant > Next:

12. Name this report variant. You may also give quick access to users, give access to new users, or add its version to some sections. Save changes.

13. Now you may find this report in Warehouse module:
