How to install Extension (Self host database)

1. 1С:Enterprise

Open the database by clicking on the " 1С:Enterprise" button. The following are the steps to add the file: Select Advanced tools.

The following page will open. Click on +sign besides Standard – open Manage configuration extensions.

Uncheck the – Check applicability when adding and loading extensions. Click on Add and the browse option will open and path at which extension file is saved should be selected.

Once file is selected, the following message will be received.

If the extension does not appear in the table, repeat starting with Add. Now uncheck the safe mode, profile name and unsafe operation protection. System will again give security warning – select Yes. And then restart the application.

1. Designer

Open the database by clicking on the " Designer" button.

Go to Administration – Active Users and check that nobody is using 1C right now. All users should log out.

Go to Administration – Dump Info base and create backup. Тhe name of backup file should include current date and words "before the update".

Go to Configuration – Open configuration.

Go to Configuration – Configuration extensions.

The following page will open.

Now uncheck the safe mode, profile name and unsafe operation protection. And then restart the application.
